Hello! And Welcome to Health Awareness Through Nutrition.
Before you view my web site and see what I have to offer, let me tell you a little
about myself.
I am passionate about helping my clients experience a healthier lifestyle by making
small changes in their eating habits. After years of studying disease, biochemistry,
and nutrition, I've learned that we can prevent degenerative diseases
and mitigate the effects of diseases by eating the foods that prevent them.
My mission is to educate people about the specific medicinal effect of fruits,
vegetables, grains, nuts, herbs and spices. The vitamins and minerals in these
foods, fish, meat, poultry and dairy products, provide everything we need to stay
healthy and lead a vibrant life.
My background:
I have a B.S. in Medical Technology, which has given me a thorough knowledge of
clinical medicine, the ability to interpret lab test results, and an understanding of
the role of nutrition in biochemistry and disease. I also have an M.S. in Nutrition;
my thesis involved studying human immune system response to high doses of
Vitamin C, which was based on my interest in alternative nutrition practices as a
way of fighting and avoiding disease. In 2005, I completed a certificate program in
wholistic nutrition where I was able to study alternative approaches to nutrition. I
am also a Certified Nutrition Consultant.

- help women navigate menopause avoiding drugs
- show you how to shop for the right foods with field trips to grocery stores,
specifically alternative stores
- cooking classes in your home, mine or group classes offered monthly in my
home
- help to develop a detoxification program to suit your needs
